Dr Hartley Booth OBE
Educated at Cambridge and Bristol Universities, Hartley qualified as a Barrister and was in practice between 1970 and 1984.
The first Barrister to be appointed as Special Advisor to the Prime Minister working in 10 Downing Street between 1984 and 1988, he gave policy advice on law and order and the environment, ending up as the senior advisor in the Prime Minister’s Policy Unit.
In 1998 the Labour Government appointed him to be Chairman of the Uzbek-British Trade & Industry Council – a position he held until July 2012.
Until recently, Hartley was an adviser to one of the largest global law firms in the world, Dentons. He is currently a Consultant to Gregg Latchams Solicitors of Bristol and London.
KICF has a strong team with professionals across different sectors. And we're very proud that this team is supported by Dr Hartley Booth OBE as legal consultant and Mr Paul Hardman as consultant and company secretary.
He specialises in corporate finance work covering mergers and acquisitions, management buy outs and buy ins, joint venture arrangements and shareholder agreements. Paul has over 20 years of experience acting mostly for SME and owner-managed businesses.
He read Economic History at Durham before qualifying as a solicitor and moving to Bristol where he has been based ever since.
Paul is a member of the Institute of Directors and has been listed in the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners legal directories several times.
